Re-opened by The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company L.L.C. in March 2006, Hotel Villa Padierna Palace has set a new standard for luxury hotels on Spain’s Costa del Sol.
Taking its name from the Count of Villa Padierna – one of Spain’s last great aristocrats, whose bronze statue greets guests as they enter – the hotel has a regal and elegant ambience similar to that of a grand estate. The hotel is surrounded by three 18 whole golf courses, Flamingos, Alferini and Tramores and neighbours Marbella Old Town and Puerto Banus, overlooking the sea.
Viila Padierna Palace facilities: The Padierna spa includes an indoor pool and gym. There is a sauna, jacuzzi and Turkish bath, and massage is available. The hotel has 3 restaurants, with outdoor terraces offering superb views. There is an English bar with a fireplace, and a summer café at the beach, with free towels and sun loungers. The resort has three courses: Flamingos Golf, Alferini Golf and Tramores Golf; as well as the Tramores Golf Academy by Michael Campbell —the only school in Europe specializing in the short game and private classes.
Each of the eleven villas and 129 rooms, suites and villas of Hotel Villa Padierna Palace are unique, with carefully chosen antique furnishings incorporating the new with the old. Plasma televisions, music systems and high speed internet access allow guests to enjoy the hotel as a home away from home. Additional amenities, such as Espresso coffee machines, private pools, sun decks and kitchens are also available in the elaborate villas. The majority of bathrooms also have floor to ceiling windows opening onto terraces.
