Aguilas has fantastic links with the rest of Spain, thanks to the large transport network. The town is 35km away from Lorca, 105km away from Murcia and 75km from Cartagena. Travelling By Road: you can get to Aguilas using a motorway that will take you to Lorca. Then join the Autovia del Mediterraneo (Mediterranean Motorway). You could also take the Cartagena-Vera AP7 motorway. By Train: take the line to Lorca and then Murcia, to which all the major Renfe lines connect. There are also plans to construct an AVE line in the next few years, running Madrid-Murcia-Lorca-Almeria. By Air: The nearest airports to Aguilas are those of Alicante (189km away), Almeria (120km away), San Javier (102km away) and Murcia (60km away).
