Venue of the Volvo Masters until 2001, a test forming part of the European Circuit, Montecastillo Golf is one of the best courses in the world.
Designed by the legendary player Jack Nicklaus, it has been the venue for countless championships, including the Volvo Masters which it has hosted since 1997 until 2001. It is situated a mere 9 kilometres from Jerez and offers the spectacular views enjoyed so much by its designer. It is a relatively gentle course and is accessible to all players, though it does contain some considerable uphill slopes. The 18th hole is particularly worthy of note, being situated forty metres above the level of the fairway and ending in a lake around the green – truly spectacular. The Hotel Montecastillo welcomes all golfers and offers facilities to satisfy the most demanding of guests.

The services one can find at this golf club are: equipment rental, buggies with GPS, golf academy, driving range, putting green and chipping green. The golf club also has dressing rooms with sauna, golf shop, club house,...
