The Hercules Golf Club was born in mid-1996, at the initiative of a group of fans and golf enthusiasts, who were forced to travel long distances to practice their favorite sport. At the end of 1997, once the land was located in the mountains of Larín, the future Golf Course began to take shape and in a record time the construction of the first 9 holes was completed. With the incorporation of new partners and a strong demand for visitors, in mid-2008 it was decided to undertake the phase of extension of the golf course to 18 holes (par 72), opening on September 10, 2011.
Currently the Hercules Golf Club has an entertaining and varied 18-hole course with more than 6 km of route (6021 m - yellow, 5151 m - red) and about 40 hectares of extension, which alternates very technical play areas with long holes that will meet the expectations of the most demanding players.
Its slope, 142 from yellow and 131 from red (the highest in Galicia) give an idea of the level of demand of the route.
The course of its fairways among pines, chestnuts, oaks and other native species integrate perfectly into nature. The holes 7 to 9 make up their particular “amen corner”, where no player will be indifferent to the beauty and difficulty of these special three holes.
Within its facilities, the Hercules Golf Club has a covered driving range, putting green, chipping green, practice bunker, clubhouse with restaurant - cafeteria, changing rooms, etc. It also has rental services for golf carts, and both electric and manual trollies.
