The course was designed by Kurt Rossknecht who has more than forty courses to his credit in Europe, and has worked together with Bernard Langer on several of his projects. The Son Muntaner has a par of 72 and a modern design with large greens and a wide variety of holes. The course is surrounded by magnificent pine groves and has some unusual trees like the ancient olive on the tee of the 15th. New faster greens await players as do the new lakes will present players with a major challenge. The tees has also been significantly improved and the bunkers have also been strategically designed and located. The Son Muntaner will also appeal to players with less experience as Kurt Rossknecht has designed an unobstructed and fair course. The clubhouse is in the typical Mallorcan style and offers all the facilities which players could wish for and unbeatable views of the golf course and the Sierra de Na Burguesa mountain range.
