This golf course lies at the foot of an old volcano and has marvellous views of the Atlantic Ocean. The course consists of an 18-hole round designed by the Briton John Harris and built in the year 1978. The course is not only marvellous for its design but also for the superb weather conditions all year round.
The course runs along the foothills of an old volcano, in a staggering landscape of lava rock, cacti and palm trees, where nature makes its presence strongly felt. The layout of the course is gentle and very varied, with numerous doglegs which will force players to use all of the clubs in their bag. It is a challenge for professionals while providing an attractive and pleasant round of golf for players with more modest skills. The fairways are flanked by more than 3000 palm trees and the views of the Atlantic Ocean are wonderful. In addition to the attractive location, the course enjoys a warm, pleasant climate all year round, softened by the sea breeze of the Trade Winds.
