One of the first courses to be built on the Costa del Sol, and several good players learnt their trade here. The course is complicated and short, and the ground is uneven. Technique is called for rather than strength. The 4th hole, a par-5, is the most complicated, as there is a curve to the left, which complicates play from the tee to the green. It is situated in a valley and has been host to numerous competitions.
