Without any doubt, one of the jewels of the Spanish golf empire.
When a golf player starts planning a golf weekend, or a small vacation in which to enjoy his favourite sport, what they look for is a place where they will be able to enjoy at least a few of the elements that will make their vacations memorable: good weather, a first-class hotel, a great golf course, good supplementary sport facilities, a wide cultural offer, good food, better wine, etc. The Montecastillo Golf Resort - almost a miracle.
Montecastillo enjoys the best weather in the south of Andalusia, with an average of 3,000 hours of sun a year in a first-rate holiday resort. It has a five star hotel with 121 rooms and suites that preserve the traditional style of Andalusia with all the modern comforts that a guest could ask for. It also offers a wide range of ammenities such as tennis and paddle-tennis, soccer, swimming pools, horse riding, gymnastics, sauna and massages.

There are two cities very nearby - Jerez, about 10 minutes away, and Seville, 45 minutes away - neither of which require any introduction. Apart from the wide range of cultural and gastronomic attractions they offer, they make Montecastillo one of the best-situated golf courses in the area. For nature lovers, there is the Doñana national park, one of the most beautiful places in Spain.

The golf course deserves a special mention. It is one of the best courses which you can find in Europe. It was designed by Jack Nicklaus, the best golfer of all times and one of the most prestigious designers in the world. We are talking about a course that is ideal for beginners, expert players and for hosting major competitions such as the Turespaña Masters of 1994 and the Volvo Maters since 1997, where only the best players from Europe can play.

It is an entertaining course where the player will use all of the clubs in their bag, for a wide variety of shots and to overcome the water obstacles and the bunkers protecting greens of exceptional quality.
